Q:I am an international student attending University of Cincinnati, Ohio. Due to the fact that insurance offered by University is extremely expensive, I am looking at other insurance options available and ways to waive insurance offered by the college. Last month, I purchased insurance through another reputable company and submitted a waiver request. Unfortunately, college did not accept that particular insurance plan and the company refunded the full amount. If I do go ahead and buy elite plan through insubuy and the university rejects it again, would I be able to get a refund back? I have attached a link below with all the waiver information provided by the University. You would be able to get all the details there. I also sent an email to the medical/insurance department requesting for more information. I will immediately email you back once I get the additional information.
