Q:I wanna ask about maternity coverage in Georgia state for visit visa

A:
Unfortunately, Maternity coverage is not available to B1/B2 visitors to the United states. There are some plans, like Atlas America, that can cover the Complications of Pregnancy up to the first 26 weeks, however, no plans on the market will cover for routine care or delivery costs for people visiting the US. If you are on a different visa, such as an F-1 or J-1 visa, there are plans that will offer some maternity coverage as long as the pregnancy occurs after the effective date of the policy. If you have any additional questions please call our office at 1(866) INSUBUY (4678289).

Q:Hi! I am a F2 visa holder. My wife got her insurance through her university. I want to get health insurance as well. What options do you have? I need the insurance with maximum monthly payment of 130 usd or yearly 1500. I need the insurance which covers outpatient visits.

A:
You can run a quote for an F2 visa holder in the Students (F1/F2) section of the website. Plans are priced based on the age of the insured and the deductible (if applicable). All plans will cover outpatient visits for new injuries or illnesses that happen after the effective date of the policy. However, no plans will cover for preventative care or routine maintenance of any kind. If you have any questions please let us know.

Q:I am trying to work out the best insurance to get as we are travelling to the US in December with our 7 year old twin girls who have asthma m. It is well controlled with medication but I want to be covered should either of them have an asthma attack and require hospitalisation. Can you help? I have started an application but I am not sure if it is the best one to get to cover us. Thank you

A:
Visitors Protect is the only plan that offers coverage for pre-existing conditions, but it still cannot be known or expected treatment. It also has a 90 day minimum purchase and $1500 deductible built into the plan for anything relating to a pre-existing condition. Additionally, it must be purchased before the insured has left their home country. Other plans do offer the Acute onset of pre-existing conditions. If you would like to learn more about the acute onset of pre-existing conditions please click the hyperlink, as this may be the type of coverage that you are looking for. Patriot America Plus and Safe Travels USA Comprehensive are popular plans that offer that kind of coverage. If you have any additional questions please call our office at 1(866) INSUBUY (4678289) so an agent can assist you over the phone.

Q:Hello, I am a Canadian seeking to undergo a medical procedure in the USA. I am specifically looking for coverage to treat any emergency medical circumstances during my stay and as I undergo my procedure. Kindly let me know if this is a product offered by your company.

A:
Yes, you could purchase a plan that will cover for new injuries or illnesses that were to occur during your stay. No plan will cover for anything related to the procedure that you will be getting. You can run a quote in the Visitors to U.S.A. section of the website to see what plans are available to you. If you have any additional questions please let us know.
