Q:For the suggested Atlas America- I looked up the First Health PPO Network providers in my zip code- 94706, and i called the first urgent care center - Concentra Urgent Care in Berkeley. As suggested on your website i mentioned that i have First Health PPO insurance and asked whether they accepted it. They do not accept this insurance. Could you please help me find urgent care centers in my area that accept this insurance?

A:
It's up to the provider if they bill directly. If they say they don't accept this insurance that just means that you would pay out of pocket and file a claim for reimbursement. If you find one that says they don't bill directly then they may when you actually need to go.

Q:I am an international F-1 student from Vietnam. I am coming to the US this August to begin my study at University of Cincinnati (Cincinnati, OH 45221-0091). I am 18 now but my birthday is on July 6th so I will turn 19 when I begin my Fall semester at University of Cincinnati. I am contacting Insubuy in search of an insurance plan that satisfies University of Cincinnati's insurance waiver requirements in order to replace the univeristy's own insurance plan. The requirements are on this page: https://www.med.uc.edu/student-health-insurance/waive-uc-student-health-insurance and the university's insurance policy can be found here https://www.med.uc.edu/docs/default-source/default-document-library/uc-student-health-insurance-plan-certificate.pdf?sfvrsn=0 I hope Insubuy can help me find a suitable insurance coverage for my academic year from August 2019 to May 2020.

A:
Unfortunately, we do not have any plans that we can offer you for coverage. It is recommended that you purchase coverage from your university.

Q:I want to buy ExchangeGuard- Essential for them. Insured are on F2. I want buy coverage for 364 days but want to pay monthly how do I? if i buy for 30 days then what would be the premium for next month -31 days? and please clarify on ACA compliant in context with this plan. Does non-compliance of ACA, stop giving coverage mentioned in this plan?

A:
The ExchangeGuardplan does not have a monthly payment option, but the plan is renewable. The premium is calculated using a daily rate which is based on the age of the insured person, the deductible, policy maximum, and coinsurance you select. If you purchase for 31 days versus 30 days you are paying for the additional day in premium. Every time you renew the coverage there is a $5.00 renewal fee. When we notify you of the plan not being ACA compliant. We are letting you know the plan does not meet the health insurance requirements of the Affordable Care Act. This plan will have exclusions and limitations. The plan will not provide coverage for pre-existing conditions until after a waiting period of either 12 or 6 months has been met. The plan will also provide coverage up to a specific policy maximum, whereas ACA compliant plans must be unlimited. If you have more questions regarding the ACA compliant health insurance, and how this applies to you please feel free to contact your local healthcare exchange. Please look at the ACA Requirements and Exemptions.
