Can you kindly advise me ?

A:
Please see the answers to your questions listed below. 1. In case I buy the insurance initially for a month can i renew the same insurance? Atlas America and Patriot America Plus plans are both renewable plans. If you are renewing for 1 month more on the Patriot America Plus plan there will be not renewal fee in additional the premium however if you renew for less than one month there will be a $5.00 renewal fee. With the Atlas America plan there is a $5.00 renewal fee in addition to the premium. Atlas America Renewals Patriot America Plus Renewals 2. If I can renew the insurance will my premium will be higher or same? Your rate will differ based up on the age bracket the proposed insured falls within at the time of renewal and the amount of days you are renewing for. If both of these factors are the same the premium would remain the same as it is based upon a daily rate. For example if an individual is moving from 69 to 70 this would cause an increase in premium. 3. What are the terms and conditions for renewing the existing insurance. As long as you are renewing the plan prior to the expiration date, the plan is renewable. Please refer to the aforementioned renewal links. 4. Do you have a list of conditions for which we can go to Urgent care? There is not a defined list of conditions that the plan will or will not cover when going to an urgent care or any provider. The plans are designed to cover the new accidents and new illness that occur after the effective date of the policy. The plans will not cover pre-existing condition, routine doctors' visits or medications as they relate to pre-existing conditions. 5. In case I have to I visit physicians within network is it possible that the claims can be directly sent to you or do we need to send it separately. Claims will be sent directly to the claims department for the selected plan chosen. The in network providers will typically bill directly to the insurance company. It is advisable to inquire with the provider prior to your visit. 6. In case we have to terminate the insurance tenure before completion of the certificate period and have to come back to India what will be penalty amt / in case there are no claims can we get back this amt ? You would receive a prorated refund minus a cancellation fee provide no claims have been filed since the effective date of the policy. You can review the cancellation policies using the links listed below for more information. Q:If choosing 100% coinsurance and 0 deductible on the Atlas Exchange plan, I'll not pay for anything when seeing doctors in or outside PPO network?

A:
The Atlas Exchange plan with a $0 deductible and a 100% co-insurance would mean that you would not have to pay anything when going to a doctor for the eligible expenses. However, if you go outside of the PPO network the plan will pay according to the certificate wording but there would not be any network negotiated rates for the rendered services. Also there is not contractual agreement for direct billing with out of network providers. If you need any further clarification please feel free to contact our office.
