Q:Do I have any recourse of the following: I cancelled a trip in May due to medical issues. Because of the coronavirus pandemic, airlines and resorts offered vouchers. I informed the travel insurance I didn't want a voucher because I now have significant health issues (non-Covid) and don't know when/if I will travel. I was assured I would be reimbursed and they would work out the voucher issue. Today my claim was denied because I was issued vouchers, and provided this from the policy:The policy defines the following: Unused means the Insured's financial Loss of any whole, partial or prorated prepaid nonrefundable components of a Trip that are not depleted or exhausted.
Q:My wife, 2 daughters, and I are considering traveling to Turks and Caicos for vacation. If we travel we are required to provide proof of Travel Medical Insurance including "COVID-19 Medical Repatriation". Do any of your policies include the COVID-19 Medical Repatriation? If yes, specifically which policy / policies include this coverage?
