Q:I want the plan which provides direct billing in any hospital if I visit USA for 6 months & there should be PPO network in entire USA states if I travel anywhere within the USA. I don't have that much money to pay medical bills while I am on visitor visa & I cannot bear to make payment upfront from my pocket What medical plan do you suggest me to buy for my Tourist Visa for (6 months)? I am just coming to see my family so will not have that much money to put for doctor expenses, if at all. Please send me quote for which I don't have to pay anything out of my pocket.

A:
We want to make sure that your expectations are properly set with the purchase of short term plans. The plans will cover the new accidents and new illness that manifest after the effective date of the policy. For prescribed medication you will always have to pay out of pocket for these as they are never billed directly to the insurance companies. If you are wanting coverage that will cover you at 100% it would be recommended that you purchase a comprehensive plan. If you go out of the PPO network it will be up to the provider whether or not they would like to bill directly. Typically, in network providers will bill directly in most cases.

My father will be 68 ad my mother will be 58 by the time they come into USA. What plans are available and how much would be our monthly payment? I saw that you offer 5 days to 2 years of coverage, if we want can we have this available more than 2 years?

Their legal status upon arrival is important as there are different plans available should they be arriving on a Green Card, rather than a visitor visa.
