I am having difficulty checking through the internet if this is covered on your plans. Please can you provide me with a quote of how much this would be and what it covers? Also, please can you give me 2 separate quotes, one for myself and one for a group of 11 people (different ages).

A:

Q:I have an insurance I am now shopping around for my mom, age 77 yrs. She is Canadian citizen, and California resident. Her insurance does not cover medical to Vancouver bc Canada. She would like to make some infrequent trips to Vancouver Canada to visit her daughter. What insurance product will cover her for major medical without the need to reapply with every trip. I think she might be making 2-4 trips in a year of varying length. We don't require or request any other insurance type other than medical ( in case she requires emergency services, ambulance, hospitalization) . But in this case I am looking for most cost effective coverage within Canada that is also flexible up to 180 days. Please send reply. I booked her already to depart San Francisco on Aug 10, 2017.

A:
We would recommend purchasing a plan for each trip based on the information provided. You may purchase a plan from the Travel Outside USA section. One of the most popular plans in this section is the Patriot International Insurance. You may purchase online by using the link provided, or over the phone by contacting our office at (866) INSUBUY.

Q:Hi, I am planning to take Atlas Exchange Pre-EX plan for more than six months, is that ACA compliant plan?

A:
Thank you for contacting Insubuy. The Atlas Exchange plan is not ACA compliant, as this plan has an exclusion for pre-existing conditions and provides coverage up to a policy maximum. If your University requires an ACA complaint plan we would recommend purchasing from them directly. If you have any additional questions please let us know.

Q:Hi, we live in the state of Washington in Sammamish, WA. There is note in you webpage regarding eligibility, quoting "The Atlas Series is not available to individuals who are physically located in the states of New York, Maryland, or Washington; or in the countries of Canada or Australia at time of purchase." I'm presently in India and will be travelling to the state of Washington on Sunday. Would like to purchase "Atlas America" for travel and medical insurance for my mother who will be 68 year old this August. We will be living in the state of Washington (Sammamish, WA) during her stay in USA. Will the Atlas America cover her medical insurance while she is in WA, USA ? Please reply at earliest, as I intend to purchase it ASAP.

A:
Yes. Your mother is eligible to purchase Atlas America plan. The rule is that insured person should not by physically located in WA at the time of application. So you can purchase before her arrival in WA state. She will get coverage worldwide excluding India and nationwide coverage in US without any problem. So either you apply online or give us a call at (866)INSUBUY and will be glad to process the application over the phone. You can also compare Atlas America plan with our various other plans at our website. Please feel free to contact us if you need any further clarification.
