Q:What is the difference between the Patriot America and Patriot America Plus plan? Is the only difference that pre existing conditions are covered by PA plus? I will be in New Hampshire for about a month and a half and then will move permanently to Hawaii but will still require coverage for about a month or 2 in Hawaii. How do I add 2 states into the quote?

A:
Your understanding is correct. Patriot America does not provide coverage for an acute onset of pre-existing while Patriot America Plus does for the age below 70 years. Both Patriot Plans will provide coverage anywhere in US. It's not state specific. So while purchasing insurance you can provide your NH address and once you move to Hawaii. Please send us e-mail to change your address.

Q:My husband and I live in California. We are planning a trip to France by the end of April 2017 (I haven't bought our tickets yet). We are going to stay there 3 months and I am looking for a travel medical insurance for him. He has a pre-existing condition: he has chronic renal failure, which requires him to be dialysed at home on a daily basis (peritoneal dialysis). His DOB is 02/23/1972. Would you provide any coverage for his health costs while abroad?

A:
The short term policies available for your travels to France will not cover the pre-existing conditions or the routine maintenance as no short term plan will. The plans will cover new injuries and illnesses that should happen after the effective date of the policy. Please see Pre-existing Conditions FAQ for more information. Please view the Schengen visa medical insurance plans available.

Q:Hi, I need this prescribed medicine - escitalopram, half pill (5mg) per day. I am a F1 student in University of Texas at Dallas, but I am not gonna enroll in any class at UTD this Spring 2017 Semester. What insurance should I purchase? If possible, I also want to purchase dental insurance.

A:
Thank you for your interest in purchasing insurance through us. Most of the insurance we provide it has waiting period for the pre-existing conditions. So it will not provide coverage for the existing conditions immediately. You can purchase insurance from your school. It may cover this.
