Q:I just bought the insurance, being on OPT, I wanted to know would this insurance be good enough to be shown on my tax forms?

A:
These plans do not meet the requirements to satisfy what is required for taxes. You would have to get a domestic plan that is ACA compliant.

Q:Hello! I have a question for you regarding buying an insurance for my wife. I am an international student on F1 visa and I already have my insurance from the school and I want to buy an insurance for my wife (F2 visa). My question is, can I buy an insurance only for my wife or I have to buy insurance from you as well. Also, when I try to get the quote from your website and filling out the purchase form, it asks me about the residence address and when I put United States, it doesn't give me any option but when I change it to my country of citizenship, it gives me the quote. So, do I need to use my home country address as the residence address and my address in the US as mailing address?

A:
It is not required that you purchase insurance for yourself in order to enroll your wife. There are options for her alone to purchase. As an F visa holder you are not considered to be a resident of the United States so you would use your home country address.

Q:My mother in law is travelling to USA for six months. Could you please share health insurance plan details and premium per month. Please share list of hospitals also.

A:
If she is coming on a visitor visa you will see the available plans on our website here. If you want to see the cost per month then you would enter the dates for one month. It's not possible to choose 6 months and pay monthly. The PPO network will be based on the plan you choose. If you need additional assistance please feel free to contact our office.
