Q:Residence Question visitor insurance My fiancee and I are getting ready to travel to the US for a month after a year of traveling around Europe. We are 27 (female, USA) and 30 (male, UK). We will get married on July 14 and since we have birthdays in the middle of July also, we have a few questions regarding the form for health insurance during our stay in America. We don't have an actual place of residence, but will be moving to Cairo, Egypt to live and work in early August. What should be put as our country of residence on the form since we have been hopping around to different countries in Eastern Europe and don't have a home base. We are also concerned with the fact that we will both turn one year older during our trip to America and our marital status will change during this time. What are we supposed to put on the form? Please help us with this as soon as possible as our trip to America begins July 1 and ends August 2.

Q:Visitor's Insurance for Male Aged 71 I called Insubuy this morning for Visitor's Insurance for my In-Laws aged 65 and 71. I purchased Atlas America for my Mom-in-law aged 65 based on the agent's recommendation. However, I am STILL having a hard time deciding between the two recommended plans for my dad-in-law aged 71 despite talking to an agent. The two plans recommended were : 1) Patriot America/IMG/First Health PPO 2) Liaison Continent A/Seven Corners/United HealthCare Global PPO I read through both plans and they seem very similar in terms of benefits. Even their premiums are only a few dollars apart. 1) Can you please list the major differences between both plans so I can decide? 2) Some online reviews are giving IMG a very bad name. They say they are extremely difficult to deal with when it comes to claims and reject EVERY claim. Hence I am leaning towards Seven Corners. Also I have heard of United HealthCare more than First Health. Is this rationale valid? 3) Do both cover Canada in case we go there for a visit? 4) No One covers pre-existing over 70, correct? 5) Patriot America is 90/10 plan but in case we go out of network we have to pay 20% up to $5k. What about out-of-network in Liaison Continent A ? I couldn't find that answer online. 6) Is there any other plan that you can recommend ? What are your thoughts on Atlas America for age 71 ? You can purchase the Atlas America plan for over 70. Just like any other plan it will cover them for any new illness or injury that occurs after the effective date of the policy. A prompt response will be sincerely appreciated. They will be here for 4 months starting Mon June 13th. You have answered a lot of common questions on your website. Thank You for that. Q:Application question for visitor insurance On the 'Application Information' page, what should I put in the 'Country' field? I am in the US and filling the form on behalf of my mom who is in India. She will be travelling soon to the US. I wish to receive her insurance card here in the US.

A:
Thank you for your interest in purchasing insurance through us. Please enter US mailing address. There are two field for the country, one is for mailing address that should be US and her home country and country of Citizenship should be India. You can purchase from our website at www.insubuy.com Please feel free to contact us if you have any further questions. Could you guys register yourself on yelp.com. I would like to see people's reviews for your service. Currently I am seeing mixed reviews on different sites and cannot figure if those are genuine or fake. Insubuy is a broker, we offer all of the major plans that are on the market. The plans are rated A or better with the AM Best. As for Insubuy, please see this link about purchasing from us /why-purchase-from-insubuy/ If you need additional assistance or have additional questions please feel free to contact our office. I see that Insubuy shows up as licensed insurance broker. Can you point me to the site where I can see Lloyds, underwriter of Atlas America plan as a licensed insurance carrier. The explanation for this not simple but I will try my best to explain in as easy terms as possible. For Indian citizen visiting USA, there is possibly no requirement of the insurance company being licensed in California. Visitor can visit anywhere they like to. They can go to Niagara Falls, Washington DC, Las Vegas or visit your home in California. Just because you are located in California, insurance company is not required to be licensed in California because you are not buying for yourself. Any insurance company would become admitted carrier (licensed carrier) in a given state if they want to insure the residents of that state while they are in that state. E.g., Blue Cross, Blue Shield, Aetna, Cigna etc. Such admitted company would give insurance only to the residents of a given state and not tourists to USA. Having said that, Lloyds is an approved surplus lines carrier in California. Again, that is not because your mother may end up visiting California while visiting USA, but because Lloyds insures other properties located in California that cannot be insured by traditional admitted carriers. Department of Insurance of California earlier used to maintain the list of approved surplus lines carriers in California earlier but they have discontinued that practice few years ago. In short, your mother has nothing to do with California with respect to the insurance. Therefore, it is absolutely fine for her mother to be insured with Atlas America plan that is underwritten by Lloyds. If your mother gets sick or injured in California, she will definitely be covered for eligible expenses. You can purchase it online at /atlasamerica-insurance/ I hope that answers your questions. Regarding reviews, you can see genuine reviews about Insubuy’s service at https://www.immihelp.com/visitors-insurance-reviews/ Reviews are very tricky and there is no way to win for a service provider: • If there are positive reviews, people can say that those must be fake reviews written by the company itself. • If there are negative reviews, people can say that the company is bad. • If there are no reviews, people can say that no one is reviewing this company and therefore, no one must be using their service. If you have any further questions, please feel free to contact us at any time.
