Q:Hi, I want to get insurance for my parents who are planning to move to the US next year. They will be US green card holders. They are aged 78 and 66. Can someone contact me to give me the options and quotes? Thanks!

A:
Thank you for contacting Insubuy. Based on the information provided below we would recommend the International Major Medical Plan for them, until they are eligible to purchase domestic insurance. This plan will provide coverage for new illnesses, injuries or accidents which occur after the effective date of the policy. This plan will not cover pre-existing conditions, routine doctors' visits, or preventative treatments. Please use the link provided below to view the plan details, and purchase. If you have any additional questions, please let us know.

Q:I have two questions : -I don't see the difference between ExchangeGuard choice or Essential -I don't find the indication for the medical evacuation and repatriation of remains

A:
The only difference between the ExchangeGuard Choice and ExchangeGuard Essential plans is the pre-existing condition period. The Choice option has a 6 months waiting period and the Essential options has a 12 month waiting period for pre-exiting conditions. To view the plan details such as the information on the Medical Evacuation and repatriation you would need to click on the Plan benefits page for review.

Q:Hi, my husband is on j1visa studying in Boston. I am on j2 visa and interested in insurance that covers maternity. Iam already and its 26 weeks now. Can I get a insurance for cover maternity? There is no insurance we have made before. Please advise which program best suits my situation. And which insurance will be covered complications of pregnancy?

A:
There is unfortunately not a plan that you can purchase to cover maternity related expenses. Plans at most cover the complications of pregnancy but that is for the first 26 weeks which you are currently at so this coverage would not be applicable for you. The available plans are going to cover the new accidents and new illnesses that happen after the effective date of the policy.
