Q:I wanted to purchase Atlas Medevac online, but when asked for my address I got the message which I attached in this email, saying that I cannot buy it if I a currently located in Maryland (where I live and work now, on a J1 visa). Is this a problem and how can I solve it?

A:
Unfortunately, you would not be able to purchase this plan if you are Physically located in the state of Maryland at the time of application. This plan would have to have been purchased before your arrival into the state of Maryland. For individuals physically located in the state of Maryland, typically purchase the insured offered by their sponsoring organization. We do apologize for any inconvenience this may cause you, but there are not any additional plans that we can offer you at this time.
