If you are moving to the USA then you would be eligible for different plans. The plans you can choose from would be from the new immigrant section /new-immigrant-insurance/ of our website while your son would be eligible for short term domestic plans found here /short-term-health-insurance/ You can also call our office to speak with a licensed insurance agent to discuss your options.

Q:My friend and I are traveling to New York at the beginning of November. We are about to purchase your Atlas America insurance plan. 1. Since our home town is in Belarus do we actually have to wait and receive physical cards via regular mail or getting an email will be enough to use the insurance if needed while in the States? I am asking because we will be traveling in soon time. Which is why we might not have enough time to receive those physical cards. 2. What exactly is the 50 USD copay when it comes to an urgent care. Could you please explain that?

A:
Thank you for your interest in purchasing insurance through us. As soon as you purchase insurance you will receive a confirmation by e-mail, which will have a link to print id card and other documents fo the Atlas America plan. So you do not need to wait for physical id card. You have to purchase this plan before your arrival in NY state. The urgent care is an outpatient facility that you can recieve treatment urgently but is not considered to be an emergency. Please read how to select right provider . Please feel free to contact us if you have any further questions.
