Q:Excuse me, I would like to know about how should I select the start date and the end date of my travel insurance? It depends on the time in the US or the time in my country (Taiwan)? For example, my departure time is 6/15 5PM at Taiwan, and after my trip to USA, I will return to Taiwan, the arriving time is 6/25 4AM at Taiwan. In this situation, how should I select the start date and the end date of my travel insurance? By the way, I would like to buy the Patriot Platinum America insurance. Thank you!

A:

Q:For the Patriot International Plan, I can have my 2 children covered under my 1 plan purchase for myself? I just want to make sure that both children are covered and not just 1 child per adult as I am travelling alone as 1 adult with 2 children.

A:
Thanks for reaching out. It is perfectly fine for all of you to be under the same application. Each individual will have their own policy maximum. Let us know if there is anything else we can assist you with.

Q:Hi I am about to travel to the US on a K1 visa and am looking for an interim insurance to cover me from 15 June until 31 July (or longer if needed). You advertise the Safe Travels USA Comprehensive plan as being adequate for this. When filling out the information you require a 'date of return to home country'. As I will not be returning to my home country, since I will be adjusting my status and applying for a green card after marriage (which I have 90 days to do on entering on a K1), do I just select the date on which I would like the policy will end? Or does a requirement of the insurance have to be my returning to my home country (like most simple travel insurance policies require). Basically, am I safe to buy this insurance if I am intending on staying in the US and not returning to New Zealand? Thanks for your help!

A:
Yes, you would put the date you want the coverage to end. If you need additional assistance please feel free to contact our office.
