Q:my wife a Visiting Student Researcher at Stanford University. I've been insured until 10/8/2018. As the new academic year comes, the campus insurance office asked me to waive for the new academic year. However, I'll just stay here until 11/1/2018. Do I need to buy a new policy to 11/1/2018 or buy for the whole academic year and get it refunded when I leave at 11/1/18? If I need a refund, what's your refund policy?

A:
If your university would allow it I would recommend purchasing for just the time you need the plan.

Q:I'm an international student at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln. I am trying to find an insurance to waive the one offered by the university. Please find the summary brochure here: Could you let me know if you offer an insurance with those requirements?

A:
Thank you for contacting Insubuy for your insurance needs. There is not a plan that you can purchase to meet these requirements as your university requires a plan that is ACA compliant. It is recommended that you purchase from our University in order to meet these requirements.

Q:Hi, I am interested to purchase the Patriot Exchange Program for my 5 year old kid on F2 visa. A:
Thank you for contacting Insubuy for your insurance needs. You are able to use your friends address in the interim period until you have your address to provide on the application. Once you have your permanent address you can update your policy.

Q:I am an American citizen who is currently living in Korea. My wife is Korean and my son is a dual-citizen (Korean & American). Would we ALL be eligible for insurance with you guys? We will be traveling to the U.S.and I want to make 100% sure before applying. Thanks!

A:
Your family is eligible to purchase coverage from the Insubuy website. Yourself and son will go on one plan as the options for U.S. citizens visiting the United States are limited. Also, for your son U.S citizenship will take precedence. Your wife will go on a separate plan for coverage. For your family would recommended a plan called Patriot America Plus for coverage. This plan will cover any new accidents and new illnesses that happen after the effective date of the policy. You would need to complete the 2 application with your wife being on a separate application. If you need any additional assistance please feel free to contact our office.
