Q:My fiancee is entering with her son on a K-1 Fiancee Visa. I'm trying to see what she would be eligible for with routine visits (mainly gynecology for birth control). Is this covered under any plans?

A:
Unfortunately, such coverage would only be available under a domestic insurance plan. You will have to pay out of pocket for these expenses. You may view the available plan for her in the Fiancee Visa Insurance section of our website. Should you have additional questions or need further assistance you may also call our office at +1 (866) 467-8289.

Q:I am a US citizen but volunteer outside the USA for last several years. I am here for a vacation, how can I cover my medical problems and covid vaccination while I am here

A:
Expenses related to the COVID-19 vaccination will have to be paid from your pocket. However, if your residence country is outside of the United States there may be a few plans available for you such as Patriot America Plus and Diplomat America as long as you are visiting the United States. Please check the geographic restrictions on the plans and read through the certificate wording for full explanation of benefits. Q:We are moving to the USA. Will the travel medical insurance cover us even if we have sold our home in Canada and are not planning to return to Canada?

A:
If you are planning on permanently residing within the United States you will want to find out when you can acquire domestic insurance. Once you are eligible to purchase it you will need to as no plan we offer will allow coverage for you. In the meantime you could purchase a short term medical plan such as National General depending on the state you are moving to. There may also be other options available to you depending on your situation, but we would need additional information. You can call our office at +1 (866) 467-8289 for additional information.
