Q:So I am planning to bring my mom here to USA to visit me for a few months. She may need some treatment sometime since she has pre-existing condition like PsA. Will you guys have any insurance plan that cover for that? Thanks!

A:
Plans for visitors will cover any new illness or injury that occurs after the effective date. There is no plan on the market that you can purchase for a visitor that will cover treatment for an existing condition. There are plans that include a benefit for an Acute Onset of a pre-existing condition but the expected treatment would not qualify for that benefit. If you have additional questions please feel free to contact our office.

Q:Dear Who is Concerned: My wife is currently a PhD student studying in the US with F1 visa. I currently hold F2, and I stay with my wife to accompany her till she graduate. She's enrolled in her school's insurance plan. Her school does not require the F2 to enroll in the same program. I think her program's price is a bit too high, so I want to seek to enroll in your program, which might be better suited for me both in terms of its content and price. Could you please inform me the plans that I can apply as an F2, the particular content and price of that plan? Thank you a lot in advance, and I look forward to hearing back from you.

A:
The plan that we would recommend you review is called ExchangeGuard the plan will cover any new accidents or new illnesses that happen after the effective date of the policy. Plans do not cover any pre-existing conditions, routine doctor's visit, preventative care. There is a small benefit for Accidental Death and Dismemberment (AD&D) coverage under the plan. If you need any additional assistance please contact our office.
