This expatriate coverage specifically says "not for people planning to visit the US" That is because if you were only wanting coverage for the US when you visit the US then you would purchase a short term plan for visitors to the US. You are instead wanting a long term plan to cover you worldwide and not just for a visit to the US.

If your credit card does not allow for international charges then your bank may not allow for the charge to be processed.
