Q:Family arriving after a while Hi I will start my scholar training (J1) at the next February and my family will join me the next summer or even later. Can you suggest me what kind of insurance can be upgraded from one member to family insurance?

A:
You can buy for yourself now. You can buy for your familiy members later separately. Anyway, the price is per person and the coverage is per person also. There is no advantage in buying together for husband/wife. If you have children, make sure you buy for them along with your spouse as the rates are different for children alone and dependent children.

Q:insurance payment options I want to know what are the methods of payment for having J1 exchange visitor insurance, starting Jan 2006 for 2 months. What is the fastest, safest and most recommended way to send you the money.

A:
The best way is to apply online at /j1-visa-health-insurance/ and pay using credit card. If that is not possible, you have to make the check, money order, demand draft or cashier's check in US dollars payable to 'Travel Insurance Services' and send it to us at InsuBuy.com 4700 Dexter Dr, Suite 100, Plano, TX 75093 USA If you have any other questions, please feel free to contact us at any time.

Q:liasion traveler questions I will like to know a few things about the Liaison Traveller Insurance. If I am from the Central America region, can I apply for the insurance? If I get shot or have a car accident in a foreign country, does the AD&D still cover me? Until what age can I still apply for it? I will be really grateful if you will answer my doubts. Thanks.

A:
Yes, you can still apply if you are from Central America region. AD&D applies for accidental death & dismemberment, and not for getting shot. Applies for car accident. You can apply till any age. Please let me know if you have any other questions.
