Q:I completed the application online. I want to make monthly payments using my American Express Card, however I only see a full year payment option. Can you provide instructions for selecting the monthly payment plan?

A:
Thank you for contacting Insubuy for your insurance needs. If you are needing to purchase 1 year of coverage you will have to pay for the entire duration at one time. If you would like to go month to month, you would adjust your dates to reflect only 1 month of coverage and you can renew the plan every months needed thereafter. If you have any additional questions please contact our office.

Q:Hi, I am an international student currently enrolled in a masters program at University of Colorado Denver. I am looking for a health insurance that has minimum requirements of the following: - Annual deductible cannot exceed $500.00 - Medical benefits of at least $1,000,000.00 per plan year with no internal (per service) dollar limits or per visit limits for specific benefits; this includes preventive care benefits and mental health benefits - Co-insurance cannot be less than 75% for Preferred Provider (PPO) networks and access to non-emergent and non-urgent network providers in the Denver metro area - Repatriation of remains in the amount of $25,000.00 - Medical evacuation benefits to student's home country of at least $50,000.00 - No pre-existing condition limitations - Coverage for maternity regardless of when a student becomes pregnant - Coverage of suicide and self-inflicted injury (intentional or non-intentional) - The health insurance company is a U.S.-based carrier or entity underwritten by an insurance corporation with an A.M. Best rating of "A-" or above, an Insurance Solvency International, Ltd. (ISI) rating of "A-I" or above, a Standard and Poor's Claims Paying Ability rating of "A-" or above, or a Weiss Research, Inc. rating of B+ or above, the plan must be underwritten in the U.S. (plans underwritten by offshore companies that are subsidiaries of U.S. or non-U.S. insurance corporations do not meet this requirement), and the participant's policy being offered by the insurance carrier or entity must be compliant with all the guidelines of the Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act. - The claims administrator must be based in the U.S. - The policy must be active at all times when the student is in the U.S. as a student of CU Denver, including upon arrival in the U.S., during semester breaks, and on or before the first day of the semester. I was wondering if you can help me with that.

A:
Unfortunately, there is not a plan that you can purchase to meet these requirements. It is recommended that you purchase insurance from your University in order to meet these conditions.

Q:I would like the insurance for FI on OPT and F2 dependent to cover basically any sudden hospital visit and emergency. $100000 is better for the max. Covers future pregnancy for the dependent. I can have deductible around $100.

A:
You are eligible to purchase the plans in the OPT Insurance section. but these plan are not ACA compliant so if there is any tax penalty then you would be responsible. The Study USA plans include coverage for maternity.

Q:I am a visiting scholar who has a three-year-old daughter and I am going to be in New York on 29 January 2019. Therefore, I am looking for health insurance for one year of visit. I found a family friendly insurance called ExchangeGuard Essential on your site then decided to purchase (Coinsurance percentage 100%, 250$ Deductible per certificate period and 100000$ Coverage amount). But I wonder whether the coverage amount of my policy and my daughter's policy are 100000$ in total or the policies have 100000$ of policy maximum separately. Similarly, I wonder if I am going to pay 250$ of the deductible in total for both of us or 250$ for me and 250$ for my daughter separately.

A:
The plan benefits and deductibles will always be individual . So you will each have policy maximum of $100,000 and Deductible of $250 to meet for coverage.
