Q:Pre-existing conditions coverage for visitors My mother in law is coming to visit us from Colombia in November and will be staying for about 3 weeks. She is 60 and has type 2 diabetes, and although we don't anticipate any imminent problems, we want to try to protect ourselves against any catastrophic medical bills. After reading enough websites to get my head spinning, I'm interested in either an Atlas America comprehensive policy or possibly a Patriot America Platinum policy. It is my understanding that both of these policies cover acute onset of pre-existing conditions to a certain extent. I've read both good and bad things about both companies, the scariest being that they will try to tie anything back to a pre-existing condition and deny payment of claims. My first question is, do you even offer the Patriot America Platinum policy? I didn't see it in the list when I did the quote form. If not, please tell me why. Second, given my choice between the two (I'm not interested in a policy from Liaison), which is better and why? Thanks in advance for your advice.

Q:Preventive care insurance hi im trying to buy a health insurace that my school requires. but i wansnt sure if your plans fit to my school requirements. can you check? here are the requrements. �Does your plan provide coverage for medically necessary care in the Bridgewater area, and out of state? �Does your insurance provide coverage for the entire academic year without restriction? �Does your plan provide maximum aggregate coverage of $50,000 or more per year? �Does your plan provide comprehensive health care which includes primary and preventive care, hospitalization, surgical services, ambulatory patient services, emergency services? �Does your plan include mental health services which meet at least the minimum required by Massachusetts law? �Does your plan provide coverage for pre-existing illnesses (at least $1500 for the first 6-months of the plan)? �Does your plan have a deductible no greater than $250 deductible? �Your plan may not be Commonwealth Care. (Commonwealth Care does not cover full or 3/4 �time students.)
Q:Mission trip insurance My son is going to El Salvador in December for a mission trip with the church for approximately one week. He has Type I Diabetes it is controled with insulin. He has full coverage medical insurance right now in the United States. Is this going to be considered a pre-existing condition that will not be covered or will it be covered if I purchase insurance just in case while he is over seas?
