Q:Can I buy trip interruption insurance but not trip cancellation insurance? I am not looking for reimbursement if the trip is cancelled altogether (this is a rescheduled trip that was originally meant to be taken in 2020). I do want insurance coverage for the expenses of hotel/food/flight reschedule if someone tests positive for COVID during travel and cannot return to the U.S. as originally planned.
Q:How do we find out the providers within network of our insurance plan?
Q:Tickets and travel insurance were purchased from Ontario, CA to Naples, Italy. Negative COVID-19 results are needed before the flight. Followed time frame instructions for the testing but received the results within 30 minutes of flight departure. Airlines canceled the entire trip (departure and return). We were scheduled to depart (Ontario, California to Naples, Italy) - Return Naples, Italy to Ontario, California. The airline canceled the entire trip- without discussion. We had to purchase additional departure and return tickets to continue our travel. Our insurance claim was denied.
