Q:I am currently on F1 (OPT) visa status. I would like to know if you can provide health insurance for Newborn ( expected delivery - Sep'19). How many days before I should take heath insurance for newborn ? What would be expected monthly cost to cover health insurance?

A:
There is not insurance that we can offer you cover a U.S. citizen in the United States.. You will need to look into domestic options.

Q:I hope that you are doing well. I have a question concerning health insurance for individuals on OPT. I am interested in purchasing the Patriot America insurance and basically just want to double check that I am indeed eligible for this insurance since your website says that not everyone on OPT is eligible for all of the insurances offered on your website. I am on OPT on an F1 visa and still looking for a job and can therefore not yet enroll in a health insurance through an employer. I am currently 26 years old, currently live in Massachusetts, and have until now had a domestic health insurance plan through my university. I am from Germany and have been living in the United States for two years. I would appreciate it if you could let me know whether Patriot America is a suitable health insurance for me to buy or, if not, if you could point me to a more suitable health insurance plan.

A:
We would recommend the ExchangeGuard plan for coverage. Please use the link to review the plan details and to generate a quote for coverage.

Q:Marshall International Health Insurance Following the insurance waiver form Marshall University

A:
Unfortunately, there is no plan you can purchase outside of the plan offered by the university that will meet their requirements. You would need to purchase the plan they are offering.

Q:I wonder could I revert back to a question on ExchangeGuard In the brochure, it states cover of $100 per day for trip delays over 12 hours covering a max of 2 nights stay. Is there cover if his flight was cancelled or how do we cover this.

A:
Unfortunately, there wouldn't be a trip insurance that could cover the cost of his trip since he will be coming here one way. Trip insurance is for a round trip like a vacation.

Q:I am a graduate student at the University of Southern California. I was checking out insurance policies on your website and came across the Patriot Exchange Program billed through United HealthCare PPO Network. I would like to know if there is a way for me to find out if the policy is accepted at USC.

A:
According to their website it says International students are required to purchase the University-sponsored Student Health Insurance Plan and the rate will be billed to your student account. You can check with the university to see if they will allow you to waive their insurance and what their requirements are if so.
