Q: My parents are planning to visit me in California for few months and I am looking for an insurance for them. They are in the process of getting a green card. However my dad is a dialysis patient and he needs to go thru weekly. Is there any type of insurance which cover his routine dialysis in addition to the emergency conditions.

A:
Thank you for contacting Insubuy for your insurance needs. There are plans for new immigrants in the New Immigrant section of our website. The plans are short term plans that will cover any new illness or injury that occurs after the effective date of the plan. There is no plan available on the market that will cover his dialysis outside of a long term domestic plan. The dialysis would have to be paid for out of pocket. You can also call our office to speak with a licensed agent for additional assistance.

Q:I am coming to USA on L1 Visa with my spouse and kids in Ohio. My insurance company provides insurance, but I want to look for outside options. Could you please help in getting good health insurance for me and my family?

A:
The plans we offer are short term plans that would be available until your employer insurance begins. If you are eligible for a plan through your employer there wouldn't be a plan that you could use as a replacement. Please feel free to contact our office if you need additional assistance.
