Q:I am currently a student of RMIT University in Melbourne, Australia and I'm off to Florida (US) for a university exchange leaving on the 1st August 2019 and returning 1st February 2020. I do have a current health insurance provider (Teachers Health) but they have advised that they don't offer insurance while overseas but I mention this in case you are able to offer a discount on the policy. I am after comprehensive HEALTH INSURANCE that will cover me while I'm in the US and also when I travel to Europe during the Christmas break. The University of Central Florida tells me that you have approved insurance plans in addition to other plans which are not pre approved. I would like to only consider those health insurance plans which are pre approved please.

A:
You can purchase ExchangeGuard. Once you purchase, you will get the confirmation of coverage.

Q:I am European citizen, going to visit USA, and want an insurance for rental cars and trucks. Coverage should be for third party damage, and to damage to rental truck itself. Real insurance using time (my stay in USA) is 1-2 weeks. I will drive in different states, mostly NY and NJ. Do you offer such an insurance?

A:
Thank you for your interest in purchasing insurance through us. We don't have any plan for Non US residents which provides coverage for rental cars. When you rent car or truck you can get insurance from rental company. We can provide you medical insurance. One of the good plan is called Patriot America Plus. Please find more information in the link below: Please enter appropriate criteria. You will find many plans and you can also compare them side by side below as well: Visitors Insurance Please feel free to contact us if you have any further questions.

Q:I am looking to buy visitor insurance for my parents visiting from India during the summer this year. My father will be 79 when he arrives but turn 80 during the stay. I know the policies are much better for those below 80 (such as acute onset of preexisting conditions). Since he will be 79 when he buys the policy, will those policies hold during the stay, or, will it downgrade when he turns 80? Please advise and I'll consider which plan to buy accordingly. Also, happy to take recommendation for comprehensive plans with good customer/claim support for my parents (my mother is 77).

A:
Thank you for your interest in purchasing insurance through us. You can purchase Atlas America plan for your father. Even though he turns 80 he will still have benefits of acute onset of pre-existing condition for 364 days from the original eff. date. I would advised to purchase the insurance for whole duration to reduce the cost of insurance. For your mother also you can purchase the same insurance but you don't need to go for whole duration because she will be in the same age group.

Q:I tried the get the insurance for visitor coverage. My parents are starting from India on 28th March 2019. That will be 27th march 2019. Should I use US date or India date? It would be good if the insurance was covered in transit as well. Their first stop is on 27th Dubai time and 28th US time.

A:
Thank you for contacting Insubuy for your insurance needs. The plans are based on U.S. Eastern Standard Time. So the effective date of the policy would be 03/27/2019 at 12:01 AM EST. The plans will also provide coverage to the insured anywhere outside of their home country. Please let us know if you have any additional questions.

Q:My husband is a coach with the the US Soccer Women's National team, which is playing in the World Cup in France this summer. My two daughters and I would like to plan a trip to see the semifinals and finals (possibly quarterfinals, as well) if the US makes it that far. Obviously, they could lose before that, in which case we would no longer want to go to France at that time. Is there a type of travel insurance we could buy that would allow us to cancel our trip and get our money back if the team loses before we are scheduled to go there?

A:
You can look at Safe Travels First Class It allows you to cancel for any reason.
