Travel LX includes high level benefits such as Trip Cancellation, Trip Interruption, Emergency Medical Evacuation, Sport Equipment Rental, Rental Car Damage, etc. The plan also offers benefits for many adventure activities. The plan also offers the option to upgrade with the Cancel for Any Reason benefit to help cover costs in case the trip must be cancelled for a reason otherwise not covered in the policy. The Cancel for Any Reason benefit also comes with Interruption for Any Reason benefit.
Travel LX includes coverage for telehealth services which covers phone and online video consultations with a medical professional for non-emergency medical issues.
This plan is available to U.S. residents for International and Domestic Trips and can be purchased for trips up to 180 days (90 days in NY and WA) in length.
Travel LX is underwritten by SiriusPoint America Insurance Company or United States Fire Insurance Company (depending on the resident state). The underwriter is SiriusPoint America Insurance Company for these resident states: CO, CT, DE, FL, GA, IA, KY, MA, MD, MI, NC, ND, NJ, NM, NV, OH, OK, RI, SC, UT, VA, WI, WV, and WY. If Travel LX is purchased with sufficient time in advance of your trip you can have coverage for pre-existing conditions as well.
Travel LX covers travel delay up to $2,500 ($1,000 in NY and WA) which includes accommodations due to quarantine.
