Health Insurance for travelers to USA I would like more information about health insurance for my parents that are coming to the United States for 50 days. My father is 69 years old. My mother is 67 years old. They will be leaving Brazil on May 12 and returning to Brazil on June 30. My question is if the comprehensive plan covers car accident and skin problems like allergies. My husband and I want to travel with them while they are in the United States and I want to make sure they are cover for everything in case of an emergency.

I was checking towards Atlas with coverage for $100,000 and $$500 deductible. It's cheaper than Patriots. But my concern is related to allergies and car accident. Do they cover? As I mentioned before, I want to make sure they are covered if needed it.

It’s very good plan will cover new accidents, injuries but will not cover in attached outstanding restriction. I couldn't find anything about skin allergies. They don't have any skin problems but better be covered. Do I have to pay extra if something happens to my parents during a car accident? They don't drive so they will be passengers the whole time while in US.
You are correct, there is nothing specifically mentioned about skin allergies instead they mention other diseases of the skin. You would not have to pay extra to cover if something happens during a car accident. Instead the plan would consider that a new injury.
